Founded in the â70s by rugby players turned trainers, City Gym was born out of a need for a dedicated training space. Danny Burns, a local legend, dominated the Mr. New Zealand bodybuilding competition for years.
Beyond athletes and competitors, City Gym has been a second home for members who have trained here for over 30 yearsâand are still going strong!
